Thomas Munson, MSc, PAg

Thomas has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree from University of Waterloo, and a Restoration of Natural Systems Diploma and Masters of Science degree from the University of Victoria.  Thomas has worked with First Nations in the Yukon Territory, British Columbia, and Colombia, South America for much of the past 20 years.  As an Environmental Technician, Thomas works in stewardship, restoration and protection of the natural areas of Garry oak ecosystems, which involves invasive plant removal, plant propagation and site re-vegetation with native Garry oak species. Thomas also works with Parks volunteers in land stewardship activities, co-chairs the Fire and Stand Dynamics Sub-Committee for GOERT, and sits on the Executive of the Society of Ecological Restoration Western Canada Chapter.
