Sustainability and Resiliency

Energy use, housing, and greenhouse gas emissions are all linked to climate change. Increasing the use of renewable energies and decreasing our carbon footprints are prime strategies towards meeting local, national and international commitments on climate change. RES has been working with First Nations communities, small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), and researchers at the University of Victoria and University of British Columbia on developing renewable energy solutions that build capacity within communities, address economic and infrastructure issues, and lead towards energy independence.
